WECARE CHURCHES

God has a wonderful design to be accomplished, through His church, that His name may be glorified. A picture of this work is given in Ezekiel’s vision of the river of healing: “…where the river flows everything will live…” Eze 47:9.

Jesus gave us the ultimate example. While passing through the cities and villages of Israel, he was like a vital current infusing life and joy. Where He had passed, the objects of His compassion were rejoicing and experiencing the power of a healthy life.

Presently, our churches should be like living streams within the cities and villages where they are located. Your church can be a place where the depressed can find true friends, where the lonely find social connection, where the sick find models of healthy living, where the addict finds encouragement, where the disheartened finds hope, and where those who are struggling can find sympathy.

This is what “WeCare Churches” is all about.
